April 21, 2025 – The Wellness Evidence Foundation (WEF), a new non-profit dedicated to advancing evidence-based wellness, has launched with a mission to validate which longevity interventions truly extend healthy lifespans.
Addressing the $1.5 trillion wellness industry’s lack of scientific rigor, WEF is conducting the first comprehensive real-world study to bridge the gap between laboratory findings and practical applications.
Through its innovative Truth in Biometrics Initiative, WEF introduces a dual-study approach:
- Wellness Circuit Study: Examines premium and home-based wellness practices to identify interventions that improve longevity biomarkers.
- Wellness Equity Study: Translates validated findings into accessible protocols for underserved communities, promoting health equity.
With a three-year timeline starting in 2025, WEF aims to engage 2,000 participants, collect over 25,000 data points, and publish findings by 2028. The Foundation projects a transformative impact by 2029, including $45 billion in redirected wellness spending, a 30% improvement in key biomarkers, and better protocols in 200 wellness centers.
“We’re closing the evidence gap to empower consumers and practitioners with scientifically validated wellness solutions,” said Gavriel Shaw, WEF Chairman. “Our rigorous, inclusive approach ensures longevity benefits are accessible to all.”
WEF invites support through donations, monthly contributions, and corporate partnerships to fund its groundbreaking research.
